Problem using Sbuilder to set landclass

I'm using Sbuilder 2.05. When I try to use the landclass function I get an error message no matter where on the grid I click. I also get a message in the texture selection window that "Polyview is not detected". I couldn't find any mention of Polyview in the help file or installation instructions. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get this feature to work?

Hi Sidney
I use SBuilder with FS9. Somewhere there is something in some instruction about setting the SBuilder ini file to point to PolyView. Can't remember where exactly. However this I did.

For me it is:
......
Altitude2Change=0
AutoCheckDistance=5
MakeClosedLineFromPoly=False
PolyViewPath=I:\Scenery_PolyB_viewer
AskDelete=True
BorderON=True
.......

I use the landclass features via SBuilder with no problem.

Hope this helps
Cheers
Mike

OK, I see the line in the ini file where the path for Polyview is entered. I'll give that a try. Thanks, all! :wave:

The Polyview problem is cleared up, but as far as I can tell all Polyview does is let you view and choose textures. If I try to place a texture in Sbuilder, I get that same error message. It doesn't matter if I click in the center of an LOD or on the intersections, or anywhere else. Any other suggestions?

Not sure I can be much help Sidney. That error message does not have anything to do with PolyView as far as I can tell but seems to refer to the location of the land class :confused: I have never seen it before. Luis Sa does come by here now and again so maybe he will see your post.

I'll keep checking back here in case he shows up, Jon. In the meantime I'll keep using Landclass Assistant. It works fine, but being able to use Sbuilder instead would be more convenient.
