• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

MSFS Question on VS mode on Asobo Autopilot in Cessna 172?

Hey all,

I have the Asobo 172 KAP140 Autopilot in the Trinidad. However, it does not seem to have VS mode, where it does in the Cessna 172 Classic.

Any idea's why? I wonder what it needs to be running that?

I wish we had the configs for the 172....

Still nothing. Works fine on the 172.
Is anyone using the KAP140 Autopilot by Asobo and if so, do you have VS control?

The last two I received from Team Asobo but they have no effect.
 
For others that are using the Asobo KAP140 AP system, BARO is 'FLC' and will innitiate the VS system to climb or descend to set ALT.
 
VS seems to work 500 ft/min

It was icing on the pitot. now its working again. AP does not work if airspeed is zero :p
