• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Is there anyway to upload airline jetway logo's? Is there any way to copy 1 gate and paste it in another location and edit like the gate name etc?

If I download an AFCAD 2004 file of GEG, can I make it so it works in FSX using FSX Planner?? Cause a few yrs ago before FSX I had an AFCAD file of GEG that was pretty accurate, and wanted to base it off that and make some minor adjustments

Im currently in the process of editing KGEG. I cant stand how FSX made GEG look, im editing the gates 1st and trying to add the ones that arent there and take out the ones that shouldnt be there etc. I know where all the gates are, cause i work at GEG :)

Then 2nd edit how the concourses look, some are kind of close but still not really and assing airlines to there proper gates :)

3rd eventually add, the airline logos on the sides of the Jetway/Jetbridges

Do you mean that you want to have the jetway painted with the airline's logo? If so then you would need to create custom textures (and possibly even custome jetways if they are structurally different). FSX Planner allows you to place the default Jetway, or a custom jetway, in your airport. But you would need to use a different program for designing the texture of the jetway.

You should be able to open the BGL file of your GEG FS9 airport by selecting the File -> Open BGL option. Then you will be able to use the airport you designed for FS9 in FSX. You will probably have to update certain FSX specific items, but that should be fairly simple.

Good luck with these changes. It sound like your version will far exceed the original!

If you have other question please ask.
