P3D v4 RESOLVED (without knowing how...) How to change FSX platform installation path please?

Hi,

I am just converting my RAF Brüggen P3Dv4/5 to FSX and therefore, I installed my FSX again (Gold Edition, so no problems for SODE to run with...). Some months ago, I uninstalled FSX which was installed in Programs(x86) but this week, I installed it into C: directly.
The problem now is that SODE is searching for the former FSX installation path - even if I reinstall SODE, it is searching again for the old path. I can't change it manually and I don't want to reinstall my FSX because it is horrible to do so - only for SODE to find it...
So how can I solve this problem please? I had a look into several forums that tell something about deleting FSX related registry entries, but this seems to complicated to me.
If anybody has any experiences with that I would appreciate it very much, I would like to understand how and where to search for the respective entries inside the registry. I would like the users bring back RAF Brüggen for FSX also....
Thanks in advance.

It's been years that I looked at this tool, Manfred. But AI believe my Environment Checker can do exactly that.

Have a look. If it is not working, I tell you what to change where in the registry.

From mobile hence short

Hi Martin,

thanks. I installed the programme and it shows me that the reg key was found - unfortunately not where. What do I have to do to find the path of it?

Hi,

that's strange - I played around with the option "Disable primary hotkey" inside the SODE platform manager tool menu. Set it to "true" and after restarting the manager, the correct path appears. Also the log shows the correct connections.
Happy about this, but I rather would know......Why?
