FS2004 runtime error 76

Hi all,

When trying to assign "Named" textures to a poly I get an error,

"Runtime error 76

path not found"

Then SBuilder promptly closes.

Anybody have any ideas about what path the error is referring to and how to fix it?

Thanks much.

Lane

i found the solution, but have forgotten. I will post any recollections in the other thread.
http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66578

I recommend anyone else that has the solution post there as well to make it easier for people to find the fix, by not fragmenting it..

OK, I don't care where the fix gets posted.

I think it valuable to note that while that thread concerns the same error message, we are receiving it while performing different operations.

thanks,
Lane

I have the same error. Interesting: This has worked before.

Line and Poly VTP2 works but suddenly no "named".
"assembled" and "classes" working
Named issues a runtime error 76

Which folder or files were examined as Sbuilder?

Hey Lane Street,

Did you ever solve this issue? I'm having the exact same problem/error while peforming the exact same operation (select named textures for VTP polygon) :/
