FSXA Sbuilder Coastline .shp Problem

Hi !

i am currently working on a Vector/LC Project in South Africa with .shp shapefiles.

I have already completed the whole road/rail network + all lakes and rivers

Now i want edit/correct the coastline of South Africa.
Therefor i have a .shp file of the coast

in sbuilder it looks like this after appending (

then i compile it as ocean shoreline

In FSX it looks like this :(

Is there an easy way to tell sbuilder and fsx what should be land and what water without making thousands of handdrawn polys ?

help pls, thanks in advance :)

Select your shoreline, right-click and select "Make Poly". Delete the polyline (you should have the original SBX file). Set the polygon to "Hydro_Generic_Ocean_Perennial"

Add extra points so that the polygon extends past the QMid11 boundary, clip to QMid11 and remove those bits outside of the boundary.

Edit. Of course you will need to exclude the default coastline and hydropoly.
