• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

SBuilder X 313 - Objects from FSX library

Hi,

Is there a complete list/jpg pictures of ALL the FSX library objects for SBuilder X 313?

The list/jpg that come with SBuilderX 313 is too incomplete...

I know how to add an object to the list, but I want all objects, and that is a lot of work. So, if there is a list in the formatted for SBuilder X already out there... please let me know.

I'm not sure if Luis Sa', Luis Feliz-Tirado or any other 3rd party made a set specifically for SBuilderX; (but IIRC there may be a set for SBuilder for FS9).

However, although I have not downloaded the complete set from the following 161 MB archive made by Lamont Clark (aka "lc0277"), perhaps this package might be processed to work inside SBuilderX:

AFAIK, the above FSX "new" objects have a current FSX format GUID format in their names, so they should be use-able as is.


IIRC, the same format of a FSX format "GUID file name" which matches the GUID of the object may have been used in SBuilderX as it was in ADE.



Also, you could check out the many thumbnail packs on AVSIM of default and 3rd party library object thumbnails that Brian Wallis so generously made for LOM (...which IIUC still works in ADE) to see if they might work for SBuilderX and ADE.


NOTE: I'm not completely sure if the legacy GUID format used in LOM for FS9 would make those thumbnails inappropriate to use for FSX in ADE and/or SBuilder, as FSX will still load a legacy object under its (original FS9 format) GUID.
