Scenery not (correct) displaying/working

Hi folks,
I've found this great tool in the web and tried to do some first steps in creating sceneries. But I have a big problem. First, this is what my polygon (water) looks like in Google Earth:
372googleearthpoly.jpg

When loaded in FSX KML:
220fsxkmltest.jpg

And after compiling:
240fsxkmlcomp.jpg

But my polygon doesn't exist in FSX :( :

Can you help me, please? What am I doing wrong?

Matthew hasn't posted on these forums in almost a year, so it's not likely you will get a reply from him.

Most designers are using SBuilderX or use shp files directly to produce scenery. And Google has changed it's KML format slightly, that may render some tools defective in translating KML to a SHP.

With all that written, you seem to get a BGL, so why not attach it to a post, and others can test it in their sim.

When viewed with TMFViewer from the SDK, the BGL poly is defective... showing just a longitudinal line.

I'm just guessing, but I think FSX_KML is not compatible with the latest version of Google Earth. The Google website did allow a download of an archived version that should work, or perhaps you have an earlier version yourself... just a guess.

Thanks for version 5.1
I was having problems with FSX_KML and installing the old version fixed the problems.
Guess I will need to stay away from Google upgrades.
:D
