• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

SDK help fpr Win 7 AppData Folder

Hi, I'm trying to set up FSX SDK in Win 7 for the tools to be available. Have Acceleration SDK already installed: it's found by Airport Scenery Editor. According to a mission creation tutorial you are to make a dll.xml folder and place it in AppData folder. In XP this is in Documents and settings. I believe it is in the User\name\AppData\Roaming\FSX folder in Win 7. Was able to create folder. Went to properties and allowed all users access. Would not allow me to paste the script from the tutorial. Went to properties and security setting and allowed full access to all users then noticed that I could no do that with system settings. Any ideas how to get this thing to work. I know SDK works because theres no problem with ADE. Doesn't show up any where in FSX. Just can't set it up in Win 7. I'm thinking about installing XP. Any Ideas???

I think you have not to create any folders, the folders exist already, what we have to do is to "edit" the dll file in case something go wrong with the true/false thing.
the paht in my case is the same: Equip/C drive/users/xxxusername/Appdata/Roaming/Microsoft/Fsx
