• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

LOL,
Regarded as many to be the best twin piston in history due to its ruggedness, reliability and performance. The Commander 520 started it all, but the Commander 500 made it famous. It also bares the distinct honor of being the first and last piston twin to bare the callsign "Air Force One". This was due its outstanding safety record.

There was a commander 500 model for FS9 but it has never really received the attention it deserves. Not by Carenado, Dreamfleet, Flight1 etc etc.

Seriously, how can you not love it?

As soon as I saw Milton Shupe... I downloaded the 9 version.

I also like the bush planes... Shupe made the D18 as well and that does have an X version.

BTW your fav plane is hard to find... Avsim has lost the files.

I found 9 version here

And my fav plane is...

Same modeler... little planes - big models

Yes, I tried it. It has allot of errors due to the fact the model is not made for FSX. It has a bug where you cannot see out the window while its raining etc.

The opaque windows are simple to fix. The information needed was posted years ago, and repeated in every flightsim forum in the webiverse ad infinitum, ad naseaum...

The source files are also available for those who wish to rework them for FSX. All one need do is ask Milton nicely.

and if you don't want to ask Unlce MIlton nicely, I know a place where most of his source files are hidden in plain view!
