• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Strahler effect

Thanx again- got it and added to my partsdatadef. Got mine from Scot H but we fiddled with a few things, got a yellow light and a blue light.

BTW- I saw some rwy lights in a library which I used in a scenery for personal use, no upload. Bright yellow - MCX shows many instances of attach points (to get things brighter), but no effect can I see; however, it did have a color to it.

Can I make an effect with just this color and attach point to it or attach point only in MCX? In other words.... He had about 23 attach points using color only. Turned out nice. I did this with navh or something.... turned out nice but I like the yellow better than my white. Pizza, 6 - nah- 12 pack and a raise at work for the sneaky answer! ;) bob

Change the color in navwhih to yellow and give the effect another name (if you want to use effects) and add this effect to an attachpoint. You want a stronger light? Once you have changed the color to yellow in 'Navyelh', copy the transmitter0, particle0 and particle attribute0 and paste them underneath those three. Then change the numbers to 1. Your light will be double as bright as before. Want still brighther? Then copy it once more.
