For my next project I am finally going to upgrade from scenPROC v1.1 to v3! After skimming the manual I am very excited about the newer features. "L" shaped buildings! Vegetation detection! Gotta try these out but first a few questions as I read regarding the Texture Filter Editor:
1. Is this tool considered "experimental" or now main stream?
2. Loading a large Tiff image really bogs down the tool. For example I am testing with a 1GB image. My PC has 32GB RAM and the tool has 75% of my RAM used up!.. for just 1 image?
3. Lots of lag in moving steps around, seeing results, etc, is this due to image size also?
4. Am I correct on this assumption: Create and save the TFC file. THen place the name of that file into the scenPROC code or do I copy the code itself and place into scenPROC?
5. If I set up my filters based on the image I loaded, is this code now tied to only that image or I can use any image to apply the filters?
6. Is there a video on these latest ways for veg detection or how to add the code into scenPROC?
Okay, enuf questions... I'll keep reading
