Hi folks,
I'm new here, but I've been simming for quite some time now.
I finally decided to create airports for Flight Simulator (2004/X), besides making repaints.
I'm busy creating a scenery fot TFFG (Grand Case, St. Maarten), but I've ran into some trouble. I've created a .psd-file for the whole runway (480x19280).
I want to add this as a texture to my Sketchup model, but it seems that the maximum resolution for the textures is 1024x1024 (So when i imported the texture into Sketchup the texture was very blurry). I tried a workaround by splitting the runway into seperate parts and applying the textures to each part, but when I load the model into Flight Simulator (2004), the transition between the parts is not smooth (You can see some very thin white lines between each part). Is there a workaround? I would like to stick with sketchup for models, but if it is really necessary I'm able to use other programs for modeling. Thanks in advance.
PS: Excuse me for my bad English, I'm still learning the language...
