• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

FS2004 The ANSWER for Sbuilder Help file troubles

Many users have been reporting having trouble with the HELP file located in newest Sbuilder FS9 package. They reported being redirected to an error page saying the "web connection was not found". I encountered it myself, and I was sure there was a simple solution somewhere. After much digging, I discovered a post on the PTSIM Forum with the answers!

By accident, the wrong version of the chm. file was included with the latest compilation release of the Sbuilder package. The chm.file shipped in error is located in the HTML folder... the file name is Sbuilder.chm.

To fix it, open the HTML folder and right click on the Sbuilder_compiled_help file and select "properties". Make sure that it is being opened with Microsoft HTML Help Executable. Check to see if your computer system is blocking the file. This security message will be located in the lower right hand corner. If so, set it to "unblock" the file. Click APPLY and click OK. Close everything out, and reopen the Sbuilder program. Select the HELP tab and select the SbuilderHelp link. A new HTML page should appear with the correct Help files fully visible.

Note: I have not tested this with Windows7. I have Windows XP 32bit Professional.

I hope this helps! Have a great day everyone. :)
