Hello, In this mission, You must to activate APU GEN, beacuse if not, when you are going to land, your gear and flaps doesn't work.I can see de timer triggers to do that, but I don't understand how can the mission check that you have activated APU GEN, to allow use gear and flaps. Do you have idea?

The answer is easy: If you forget to switch on the APU you won't be able to do anything at all. Happened to me on my first try of that mission. 
Without the APU you will eventually lose power for all aircraft systems. So the mission itself does not need to check it, the aircraft systems simply stop working.
