• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Tutuila American Samoa reworked

Hi all,

(Well, those that were interested).
I found a lot of inconsistencies,quirks and bugs, and it took me quite a while to get rid of the fillets and get the AI right.
The improvements, therefore, have to do with:
- the AI (IFR flightplans only because I cannot change the VFR behaviiour) should now be working properly, so the airport should no longer be AI unfriendly:));
- the ugly sawtoothed edges around the ponds in between the runways are gone for the most part;
- the fillets where they do not belong are gone as well (that took me a whole day:();
- the taxiway lighting and marking is now OK;
- the runway 5 start position has been changed (according to the latest GE pictures);
- the 2D black silhouette of the guy that was outside has been moved inside.
Give it a try because I think it is better (more accurate at the least) than the existing sceneries.
The download link for the uipdated ADE files is: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/79138728/Tutuila update3_ade_files.zip.
The ADE NSTU bgl's should replace the ones you downloaded earlier, and the OFPP.bgl should replace the old one (overwrite existing, placed higher up in the scenery list so as to be loaded before the addon scenery).
Nothing spectacular has changed, just that it now works or should work as it should.

Yours and waiting for feedback, thanks,

Roby
