Using Google exclusively for a background image source may be a problem for some that also use the Google API for other image purposes. If you exceed some unknown usage parameter Google will block all further access to its images via the API for an unknown time period.
After somewhere between 24 and 48hrs the ban is lifted. It is based upon your IP address. If your ISP will issue a new IP then you can continue for some unknown time until you are once again banished from service. I would guess that acquiring single background images infrequently may not trip the magic trigger.
A question, is it possible to acquire the lat/lon values from the Google API so that the user does not have to do a copy paste?

Dick
