• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi folk,
I'd like to present my work here for any suggestion you might have. This is an airport in Hauhin, a town in the south of Thailand, about 200Km from Bangkok. The king's palace is in this small town. The airport here is nearby the sea and is not a big one with regular airlines but hosted by small airline. There are tunnels pass underneath, ones for train and the others for cars. It is quite a tough job to make gmax slope and rwy surface that the airplane can land on. Would you mind taking a trial version of this and post what do you think? BTW, this is freeware and will be complete in a few weeks. There are two versions; one is gmax slope and traffic underneath the other is gmax slope but making with fs2002 style to overcome the flickering of gmax surface by fs2004 style. Unfortunately, the traffic and tunnels are not possible since they will be seen under gmax plane.
You can download at http://www.4shared.com/file/97562365/dae0e618/VTPH_project_by_tic.html Sorry that there is no instruction in Eng. yet but it will be available with the final version.
Here is some preview pictures:

That look really nice. And I'm happy to see you found a solution for the roads/tunnel area.

Quite a tough job, meshman. But either way of solutions is not perfect. Ground poly with 2002 style is very beautiful but it can't hide the train, cars and tunnel below it. Gmax slope and runway in 2004 style is not so perfect because of flickering but it can hide all those structures beneath it. There are choice to choose by clicking batch file in the main folder. Try them both versions and tell me which you like the most.
