• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX What I miss

God Aften Arno,

Your tool becomes more and more a complete modelling tool comaparable to Gmax or FSDS ( except for the animations, of course) and I am more than pleased with what you can do with it.
There is, however, a tiny something that (in my opinion) could be an asset and avoid a whole lot of work, namely an 'undo' button to undo at least the last action.
I was working on another ferry boat (made in Sketchup) and imported the dae file and added all the textures to MCX. And then I tried out an option I had not seen before to convert colors into texture sheets. But the whole boat turned black and so I have to start all over again because i cannot undo the last action.
Would that be a difficult thing to incorporate in the program?
Tak and get home safe again,

Roby

Hi Roby,

Let me put this on my todo list. I agree with you that it could be a useful feature. I would have to do some research to see how easy it would be to implement.

Hi Arno,

if you do that, then it is maybe a short way
to an save functionality.
Which means, to save the current status of MCX
in an file format which could handle this.
( with enough possibilities for future functionalities )

Beste Regards
Wolfgang

Hi,

I know that has been requested before. I did not see a purpose for it at that moment (since you can always save to one of the existing formats). But I'll think about it again.
