• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Where can you download FSX_KML

Hi,

I have contacted the author. If he agrees we will put the file in the FSDeveloper download section as well soon.

Nope. But if somebody still has the file, I would be happy to host it in the download section.

Curiously, when I clicked this link (which was undoubtedly posted in good faith), I got this alert:

http://safebrowsing.clients.google....e=http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=115211

Being the adventurous type :stirthepo , I clicked my way through despite the alert, and then got this:

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.php?108-Copyright&fid=115211

Undaunted, I navigated the 'perilous' waters of flightsim.com's menu bar: :p

File Library > Search Files > Search for text ...and entered "FSX-KML" as a query in that field

Lo, and behold... one of the hits came up showing this link: :D

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=4374971

...and this download link to the last FSX-KML release version 1.10:

http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=115211

Hope this helps ! :santahat:

PS: Thanks for seeking permission to make FSX-KML available for download here at FSDeveloper ! ;)

This one works for FSXKML110.zip. however in the wiki it does not.
You must have a flightsim.com account to download it. Everyone here should have one already, they have been around since 97 or 98
Flightsim.com changed the address info for it
flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=115211 is the old non-function in the WIKI, which wont allow me to modify and correct
flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=115211 is the functioning one.

I can edit again.

Hi Gary,

Is this a typing mistake or is there really a 119 version? The one I have on my external harddisk I dragged along is 110.
Greetings fron a half Roby being deprieved of his FSX and most of his tools while on his wife's laptop in Spain:).

Ry

Edit: I have it here (the 110 version). Do I upload it or is it not allowed or necessary (I am getting confused)?

Hi Roby:

OOPS !

[EDITED]

Thanks for the heads up on my '119' typo; version 1.10 is indeed the latest FSX-KML release... I've corrected my post above < sorry if that caused any confusion >. :o

Please note: When building land and water class FSX KML makes use of the freeware tool set called FWTools.

Must have forgotten I put it on already then :).

I'll update the wiki to point to that URL then, even easier.
