• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

And the date today is...................................

Speaking of flexible displays, does anyone remember the Star Trek episode where the young lady unrolled her "keyboard" and began playing a digital piano? I'm waiting for the technology to produce that during my lifetime. Imagine if one could carry a five manual digital pipe organ complete with full pedals around in a compact roll weighing less than two pounds?

Yeah, but wouldn't it be cool to play FSX or P3Dv2.x on such a large screen! :rotfl:

Oddly enough though there were some very real products for sale in their e-flyer. What truly gave the joke away was this ad for the "KUBE X-15 MiniNuke" - the world's first home mini-nuclear generator...

My vote for the best comment is this one:

As a beta tester of this product, I have to give it generally a favorable review. My local power company is actually sending me checks monthly in such an amount that it covers my rent. However, the downside is that my cat really loves to sleep on top of it since it is nice and warm, recently he has grown an extra tail. I'm not sure if the reactor is the cause or not, but I'm going to give this a 4.5 out of 5 star review, just to be on the safe side.

Then the future is now.

Very interesting. I almost ordered one of these until I noticed that the shipping from China is $43... Added to the $34 cost of the flexible keyboard, that's just a bit on the expensive side for what truly amounts to not much more than a toy.

I remember that well. Great episode. I like how the piano board stayed 'unrolled' and didn't try to roll back up.
