• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

not getting any AI

I have several AI packs from World of AI, as well as some GA flight plans made up. Why are none of them displaying? Both airline and GA traffic sliders are at 100% and I'm seeing nothing.

Couple things:

For what sim, 9 or X?

Do you have the tick boxes checked on?

Are you looking at the right times?

BTW, if you are using FSX, using even one FS9 traffic BGL file will cancel out ALL of your FSX traffic files. To use FS9 based traffic files in X, you have to do some converting first.

Not entirely ture. An FS9 file will cancel FSX traffic in your traffic zone only. If you wait long enough, FSX traffic will show up.

Jonmkj, unless your traffic files are in the wrong place where FS can't see them, not sure why you're not seeing any traffic. Did you use the installer? I never do.

Hoi,

And for what it is worth, and probably known, but you never know:
Suppose it is not a FS9 traffic file problem in FSX, suppose jonmkj has used the WOAI installer, then maybe it is a matter of unchecking the "aircraft casts shadows on the ground" in the FSX settings?

Strong possibility you do not have the ai aircraft installed!!!!!!!!!!!! You have the traffic files, but FSX is looking for the planes themselves and can't find them!

1. hope they are converted for FSX, less hassle.
2. find the ai's you are supposed to have
3. if in an FS9 folder- manually pull them out and put the ai's into FSX\simobjects\airplanes.

stick a fork in ya - you're done! Bob
