• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Just to let everyone know that I will be going to Florida for a couple of weeks. My travel plans start tomorrow Monday 27th in the UK, and by the time I have completed the trip and my initial family duties and visits I should hope to be back on-line late Wednesday US time. I will get sporadic access during that time but won't be able to handle all the site admin duties so there could be a delay in some things.

Have fun over here. Enjoy your holiday in the land of beaches. Bringing your surf board?

No surf board Bill. I suspect I will be spending some time messing around at my sister's new house ;)

Nope - I shuffle between the UK and the US.

Welcome to the land where Fahrenheit is spoken. Also remember that the local time of Zulu minus 4 will become Zulu minus 5 at 2:00 am Sunday morning. We like to keep it simple.

I understand that the population of FL has increased by around 1m in the past 10 years. Of course it fluctuates greatly with the movement of snow birders and they are arriving right now around us :)

Should I retire in the next few years, I'll probably migrate to Florida. Warm in winter, no state taxes, and a health-care industry catering to the elderly. Sounds pretty good.

FL has the best geriatric medicine in the world Dick ;)

I was born in Wachula, Florida back in 1949. At that time the major feature of Wachula was the stop sign. Now, nearly sixty-six years later, they have two stop signs! Talk about progress! :rotfl:

:) :) :)

When I was still a kid, while visiting with family for Christmas in Bowling Green, FL (which didn't even have one stop sign!), I asked one of my cousins what he wanted to be when he grew up.

He replied that he "wanted to be the Bowling Green Constable." When I asked him why he said, "So's I can sit in Maude's Coffee Shop all day and just call Wachula Police if someone speeds through town!" Knowing Jeff, I think he was serious.

He wound up being an citrus farmer though, just like his Pa and Grandpa before him... o_O

I'd love it if the USCG would transfer me to the St.Pete/Tampa Station area. But they wont, I was sentenced to Sin City and NAS Fallon from Texas lol.
