• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Can you make aircraft, scenery or scenery models?
If you're looking to join an active team... I mean person, then let me know. This is not an employment opportunity so please dont expect a salary.
If you have the passion and drive to push yourself, you may well be Soarfly Concepts material.
Let us know if you're interested.

Just send a mail "email"or PM me,
You can pop to the following link to apply directly.

Ah, the unpaid internship reaches flightsimming. Good riddance!

Next step: Paying to be part of a dev team.

Looking for a freeware developer.. never did I mention paying us money. Im looking for a team not a financial aid.

I was just being sarcastic.

What are you intending to do? Have said dev do a freeware project with you and then promote him/her to a full team member?
Wouldn't it be more attractive to potential candidates just stating which projects you have in mind?

Honestly I am unsure at the moment, I don't have much time to myself lately and with other things in life taking priority like work and family I am just looking for new person/people to join me.
Just need a bit of help to take the pressure off and still allow SFC to be active in the community.

If you don't have the time, you don't have the time. Commercial developers should always be available to solve product support issues, but that's about it. Nobody forces you to pump out products and doing so for the sake of it won't help anybody.
Besides all of the technical mumbo-jumbo, we're always going through: This is nothing more than a hobby.

Hi Man,
Your tutorials have always helped me, thanks for this.:stirthepo
if I can do something for you, count on me.

Otavio.

I never said it did :) so are you interested or are you just chatting?

I'm really amazed how some just find any opportunity to come BS. Nothing productive ever comes out of it.

I for one...THANK YOU for producing the BEST online video tutorials ever made for FS. Believe me if I had the chance I would LOVE to collaborate with you. After all, you'd be providing free lessons on the job.

All my freeware sceneries I owe a great deal of the development part to you. I use your tutorials as refreshers all the time.

Thank you for your contributions to the Dev community. A lot of us are in debt to you.
(Ignore the noise)

It is true! I still catch myself laughing when I apply the specular layer and remember that it would "look terrible" before adjusting power scale lol, great and fun tutorials.

Agreed.

Freeware product or not - wanting extra people on your mission deserves them some sort of pay and honestly - just getting your name on the credits in the manual that nobody reads really isn't worth the time and effort, neither is a free copy of the finished scenery or anything else for the matter.

I think the furthest I went into wanting to hire "unpaid" workers is offering a commission, though a commission is still something at the END of it - but most people need something whilst doing it.

"Paying to be part of a dev team" - already there, A******t has this down to a tee!!

Also, last bit of advice to @Soarfly Concepts - I wouldn't recommenced asking for personal details for such application, you're not the Police, just a freeware scenery dev - how can you re-assure everyone that all their submitted data to you is secure and safe?

In my experience, I've always negotiated the product first, and only upon mutual agreement, formal contracts etc are written and signed. I personally think you are asking/wanting so much for very little but good luck regardless..

Okay the personal details I ask for are.
Address - I want to know where my team live.
Age - they need to be old enough, child labour is a thing, I dont want to be a part of that "thing"
And finally contact email address...
Err for contact.
I'm not going to sit here and explain all the ins and outs but we WILL be paying people but it won't be anywhere near a salary.
So please... dont take anything the wrong way, Soarfly Concepts is a registered business and I have laws to abide by. I'm just looking for community driven people who are passionate about creating content for FS... Just like me.
Forming an effective team and creating some great addons is the goal. I don't understand why people feel the need to try and attack people for what they would like.
