• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Miltech Simulations is looking for talent!

We are looking for a part-time contractor with experience in XML and Animations for MSFS. The ideal candidate uses Blender for 3D modeling, and its comfortable with complex animation techniques (quaternions, bones, armatures). XML and MSFS Templates knowledge is a requirement, as the candidate...

[Paid] Looking for someone with SimConnect/WASM/C++ Experience

Hello, We are currently looking for someone with SimConnect and WASM Experience to help us migrate a few existing Out-of-process SimConnect modules in C++ to In-process modules to be compiled as WASM Standalone modules. The codebase would stay the same for the most part, with just minor...

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

The GPS Texture bug should have been addressed already. Do you have latest version (v1.3.1?) I'll take a look at the AP issue. A similar issue was fixed a long time ago so it should be a quick fix. Edit: just fyi the AP is only designed to work correctly in APLN mode. It may not behave as...

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

Doing some research online - this seems a common issue among different aircraft, and personal preferences. I've found multiple articles regarding this issue on the forums. It has to do with interpupillary distance, as this is what really determines the perspective and scale of things...

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

Have you tried adjusting the World Scale on your VR config? If so, what value you find that accurately matches the size of the cockpit in VR?

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

We have an article on the forums discussing this: https://miltechsimulations.talkyard.net/-15/cockpit-proportions-in-vr-osprey IMO cockpit proportions are correct: The problem is that the MSFS Camera has a "Fish Eye" effect that makes everything appear larger and distorted from the position...

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

Hey rafisk, Thanks for your feedback - and I fully agree there are texturing and modeling details to improve. The aircraft is still in active development (this is written in the product description) and one of the reasons why we partnered with Maryadi is to assist with modeling and texture...

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

We’ll take a look at this. I’ve seen that the “60 degree region”, especially when converting from APLN to VTOL is particularly difficult when balancing TRQ, airspeed and staying within the limits of the nacelles. I’ll wait for Maryadi to comment on this, as he worked on the flight model - but it...

    MSFS MV-22B Osprey Release 3.0

Last time I installed a Beta version, it completely destroyed my MSFS installation.. A little hesitant to install it, but should work just fine on SU11. I'll try to arrange testing somehow (without blowing away my sim)
