• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    FSX INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2014

Hi Jon, Zip file with all the New York mdl files was too large, hence I have just included the 2 mdl that I used along with the xml. Thanks, Harry

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

Hi, you don't have flight arriving at VHHH on a Mon at 22:44 GMT listed under flight plan 29 in your Air NZ traffic file like my post #6 of this thread? Anyway, I found the Air NZ flight (Reg. # ZK-NBS) at NZAA on Mon at 11:29 which is the departure time to VHHH. This means it's 22:29 local...

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

I believe I have the same Summer 07 package (as written at the WOAI site), except the Readme.txt writes Summer 08. Yes, I set the GMT time to 22:44 on the Mon. I also tried changing my traffic setting to 70 and 30 percents, but it still did not show. I did this do - three times now -...

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

OK, I found some other airlines - e.g., Dragon Air and Asiana - are not showing at WBKK because their flight Active Level % is higher than my setting of 51%. What are the implications of reducing their active level %? However, this discovery still does not explain why the Air NZ Flight 39...

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

My current problem is Flight 39 in FP 29 is not showing at VHHH on Mon @ 22:44. The flight departs NZAA (not EGLL) on the same day @ 11:29. My Airline traffic density is set at 51%. I am now retesting another Dragon Air which failed to show at WBKK on Wed AFTER restoring cruise speeds and...

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

Thought I had worked out why Air NZ does not show up at VHHH with my understanding that when "+1" is appended to the Override ETA time - i.e., scheduled to arrive the following day. I confirmed this by changing the World Time from a saved flight that landed at VHHH and found an Air NZ 747-400...

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

Yes, there is adequate parking and the airliner's jet is not listed. I have now restored cruise speeds and will test again. I assume the traffic file needs to be re-compiled after restoring cruise speeds, right? Thanks for this tip :)

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

Yes, I have read the troubleshooting guide but found nothing that relates to my queries. What additional info do you need? Normally, when I double-click on a flight in the "Arrivals and Departures" dialog window, AIFP automatically takes me to the relevant flightplan in the FP Editor / Leg...

FSX Some Airliner Aircrafts Do Not Show

I am using WOAI in FSX, hence am using AIFP to view the traffic file's flight plans which greatly complements each other :) However, I have a couple of questions: 1. Some airliner aircrafts do not show up at airports at the arrival time - e.g., In the Traffic_000_WoA_Air New...

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

What you suggested is what I did when I wrote "... re-attaching the jetway ...".

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

Are you refering to a texture file for the AFCAD? If so, where would it be? I have searched in "\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\ASIA\texture", and there is no texture folder in "\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\scenery\0903\" where the stock AFCAD's .bgl is located.

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

Thanks Jon for looking into this :) Is the oil spot drawn by FSX into the stock AFCAD? I tried moving the parking to the right where the oil spot is, but it seems to move with the parking assigned in ADE  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

When I change the parking back to a gate medium (32 feet radius), there is no more heavy brackets for the line to be centred within ... However, the line appears to be unchanged. So, what does this mean?

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

I ran the Fault Finder, and found two faults with one of the four parkings I upgraded to heavy - Jetway Distance and Use. I have tried re-attaching the jetway to one of the other four parking, but the line is still not centred. Any other suggestions?

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

Yes, because when I move parking the taxi link moves with it.

FSX Taxi line not aligned with heavy parking

The width of the connector link is 100 feet which is probably wider than average, but I shall try widening it to see if it makes a difference. Edit: Widened the connection link to 160 feet, but the line did not move.
