• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

С++/XML developer for an established company

A company that is to addons what wet is to water...Lego?

Copybook Heading Software, obviously.

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

So many things in that poem pertinent to FS development.

It is a pleonasm intended to express obvious meaning. Consider, water is sometimes many things; corrosive, mercurial, reflective, but above and beyond all, water is indeed wet. To carry the allegory even further, by extension the identity of your employer would be to addons what wet is to water...add it all up and I suppose it is somewhat obvious, although Dick is a little too generous, I think, because Lego was my first guess and I still think it was a good one, but now I am picturing some funky person doing a swan dive.

Am I at all close? Maybe kind of sideways close?

BTW, if you are unable to imagine my posts as intentionally humorous, then they probably won't make as much sense as they could.

sorry, I didn't understand what mean of "water wet" ?
Maryadi, in this instance although RK is correct in identifying it as a "pleonasm," the intention is to draw an ironic comparison between two entirely separate situations. In simple words, it is pointing out the obvious.

Saying that "Company A" is "a well known FS developer" is like stating that "water is wet" or "Antartica is a cold environment."

It amazes me that the OP is a distant memory in this thread.
Ok, I give up, water is wet and I may be still a little wet behind the ears.

I'm sure his needs were met. I for one would be honored if my thread, after fulfilling it's purpose served as the butt for an ongoing conversation of friendly banter. It is the coffee house.
