• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Morning Don,

This version does not seem to work for me. I can no longer define the line type in the dropdown list.
The OK button is not active either once you have adapted a texture.
Noticed you said line type is now selected in combo box. What/where is the combo box. If you mean the gp_editor then why would you have to define the line type in there?

Crossposted. Please delete.

The line type combo box is next to the texture combo box, but doesn't work.

As I just said in the other thread, the Line Type selection works for me. Please give it another try, Roby.

Will go back to 0.0.59 then and check it out.
O, ooh:(.
Something is not right at all.
Switched to 59:

Then switched back to 58:

but the line width is no longer there, there are only two vertices left. It coincided exactly with the height of the white line (that it does not do in 59).
How can switching back provoke this?

Did you get the line width back after reselecting the line style?

Yes! Had to click on the line style and then it was there again.
Thanks.
I am still speaking about 58 because 59 line style is empty like George said.

Roby, I can't explain what happened when you reverted to 0.0.58 - but I will investigate once I've fixed the "bugs" in 0.0.59 (which would go a lot faster if you guys would stop posting about it )

I don't understand - Roby had not selected a line style yet. My GP Editor has always displayed new lines as a single line (no width) until you select a line style - how could it know how wide to make it before you select a line style?

I had defined a line style in 58, but when switching to 59 and back, I had to click the line style again and that solved the problem as you indicated.

No, the problem (2 vertices vs. 4) has nothing to do with line type not being selected. (That would only account for it being slanted rather than hporizontal.) The line width was there, so there should have been 4 vertices.

There were no changes between 58 and 59 that should have caused this result. There's something else at work here.

But when you create a new line, there is no line width - the box is blank. Entering a line width does not change the line display over the texture, until you touch another control like the Main Texture drop down box. So you can have a number displayed in that box with a 2 vertex line (for a short time).

Hope this helps,

But, this wasn't a new line, since a texture is shown - or am I missing something obvious.
