• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

ADE & 64 Bit Systems

Anyone have any trouble with ADE on a 64bit o/s? I reinstalled ADE on my new system and have had some trouble. It has been so long since I put ADE in on the old one, I forget if there was some set up that I needed to do or if my issues are related to the 64bit. I'd just like to cross this off my list as a possibility.

Works fine here. ADE is being developed under Vista64 Ultimate

Jon has stated he is using Vista64 Ultimate. The entire ADE team uses many different computers and OS's to work with future releases of ADE.

I use Vista32 SP1 and others use Vista 64 and XP in various SP's. We normally see any issues that can cause a problem long before any ADE version gets placed into public distribution.

If you have a problem with your 64 bit OS it might help if we knew what it was. There is a good chance that one of the team members has already seen the problem. Jon and George who also uses a 64 bit OS may have a answer for what you are seeing.
 
It is something about the objects. I am not on that computer now. I will check into it when I get back in town in couple of days. Like I said, I just wanted to cross off the 64 as a possible cause.

Best thing is to send me the file called ade_200903.log. That way I may be able to see what is going wrong
 
Scruff, if I can't figure it out on my own, I will do that. But you guys always offer great support. I owe it to you to do the due diligence on my own first.
