I can easily (I think) drop down the Line Style combo box when you select a texture.I can get it textured using a two step process (assign the texture, click OK, back into the Editor, select the line style), but that shouldn't be necessary.
I'll check it out.And I can confirm that flips do not seem to "stick" between editor sessions - when I come back to edit the line, the vertices are back in their original, pre-flipped positions
Yes, I can see that. I must have broken that yesyerday. New release shortly. Finally, if I try to edit a polygon nothing I do will activate the OK button - it stays grayed out. All I can do is Cancel.
Now, that's unusual! I've certainly never seen it before. Here is an example of what I get when I try to define the line style of a new line - note the empty Line/Pattern Style combo box

George, the Line Type selection combobox works for me - but it does work differently from yesterday. The line types no longer pop-up when you select the texture. Now, the available line types are loaded into the Line Type combobox and the text portion initialized with the currently-selected line type name - if any. (If no current selection, I should probably add "No style selected" in the text portion of the combobox to let you know styles are available.)
Which brings me to the question I intended to ask you this morning anyway. When you send me an ADE file, there are generally no line types specified in it. (Things display otherwise as they should because the X/Y and U/V information is there - but not the line type.) That appears also to be the case with the screenshot above.
Any idea what you are doing to clear the line type?
Don

Tom, my "unusual" was referring to the horizontal line. I just realized that that was just the lat/lon coordinates translated.Quote:

Any chance the lines_def file you are using does not contain the corresponding entries?Perhaps that is what it should do, but, the combo-box is empty with nothing to select. (see the first screenshot)
I doubt Jon will like that! Just to make sure it's not something that has been fixed along the way, please send me a file that displays on your system with ADE showing line types.I am not doing anything to clear the line type. It is certainly in ADE

Tom and George (you reported this too). Are you referring to flips in general -or flips of Lines? And I can confirm that flips do not seem to "stick" between editor sessions - when I come back to edit the line, the vertices are back in their original, pre-flipped positions.
