This version is primarily for P3D v3 users and includes Don's revised method for custom ground polys as discussed here: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/ade-p3d-support.437841/
Those not working with P3D v3 do not need to install this version. However it will do no harm to do so and this will eventually become the production version.
A manual installer can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2s8noh434vjdzof/ade_171_6088_beta.zip
Note if Mediafire does not want to deliver the download when clicking this link then right click it and use the Save function from the context menu.
It is a clean full installation and as always it makes sense to install it separately from your production version. Once installed you may want to import settings. Be aware to check the folder locations for saving projects and bgl files to make sure they are what you want. Also you may want to copy the MFDB.dbs folder from the Global folder in your production installation into the Global folder of the beta to save ADE having to recreate the detailed footprints.
Don and I have tested this and it seems to work as advertized. You will see that there is a progress bar in the Dialog where you kick off the Compile. ADE has a bit more work to do with custom GP objects now and it can take a few seconds or more to complete.
Thanks again to Don for creating this new functionality
