• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX AI strange behaviour during taxi

Hi all,

I am using AIFP34315. I am trying to create a bomber mission from England to France, I am using the ACG B17G AI model. No problem creating a bgl with 11 planes, and they do
show up on the airfield. The problem I am having is that the AI planes show strange behaviour during taxi. I have included a screenshot to show this.

In FS2004 everything works as it should, but no dice in FSX. I want to use the awesome Aeroplane Haven B17 to fly alongside the AI planes, and simulate a bombing sortie...

Hope someone knows of a fix!

Thanks

Probably due to something in the Contact Points section of the aircraft.cfg file, but I have no idea what. Perhaps the main gear points are too far back and they are tipping onto their nose? Could also be a Weight and Balance problem (or both sections are involved).

This aircraft is by John Young, who is still very active at MAIW. You can download the FSX version of this aircraft there (Link), and if it still fails to work for you I'm sure John will have words of advice in the forum.

Edit: ah, I see you beat me to it!

Is this the gentleman who made the JYAI B-58 Hustler? If so, I would like to ask if the AIR.cfg or whatever has been corrected or not. If so, where can I get a copy? Really enjoy this aircraft. Thank you...
