I've developed a handful of airport mods over the past year and with each I've made extensive use of the models (mostly hangars) that are already present in MSFS2020, or were added through world/city updates along the way. I have tried my hand at blender and that is too steep a learning curve for my taste.
One of the most time consuming aspects of building an airport mod is flipping through the hundreds (thousands?) of models for hangars, buildings, and other scenery elements to find the best-matching ones before placing them in the scenery mod. Isn't this something that AI could help with enormously? Does anyone know of any ai tools that could be fed a library of 3d models and then be asked to find "best matching" models based on attributes like footprint, color, height, etc.?
