When I compile flight plans, I want AIFP to pick up the positional data from the airports I have installed. I use the "Find/Collect Aitports" function to get the airports into AIFP, I rename the airport.txt files when I compile, and that for the most part works.
However, the positional data for some airports that I have in my library apparently does not get picked up, for instance LTFM always shows up when compiling with no positional data. The position is set in the AFCAD (at least ADE says so). So when compiling in such a case I have to use the airport positional data in the airports.txt file.
I would imagine that "something" could need to be set in the AFCADs concerned, but I can only seem to find any positional data when I open the "Move Airport" function in ADE. Or is that just my imaginatiion?
Thanks for any pointers -
Jorgen
