• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

Hi all,been trying to get aircraft to do a few vfr touch n goes then return back to there original take off airfield,
but they seem to want to doing vfr touch n goes until on the third time the vanish after landing.
I've tried adding extra time but they still do the same,just land and vanish at the tng airfield.

any help always appreciated in advance.

How far is it from XCNT to NRTH? If more than a few miles, by the time if finished doing its TNGs at XCNT it should be on approach to NRTH and, hence, abandons XCNT.

Were any errors detected in this flightplan?

Hi Don,NRTH being home airfield is about 30nm away from XCNT being the TnG airfield,
ATM they dont abandon XCNT they land and vanish on the runway which i understand if you wanted them to park without spots they would vanish but they aren't instructed to do that.
Would you recommend 24hr or hourly repeat for VFR TnGs.
If all fails may just do IFR but wanted to simulate TnGs really.

That's what I meant by "abandon" (the departure)

I see nothing wrong with the FP other than, perhaps, not enough time between airports. Try lengthening that interval.

Typically. TNG is used to cause TNGs prior to landing at a destination, i.e., the aircraft lands, taxis to parking and waits for its next departure. You certainly haven't allowed enough time for that. So, I suspect when the AI engine "realizes" the AI aircraft needs to be somewhere else as it's doing it's last TNG it simply goes there without performing a normal departure.
