• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Airbus A350 XWB

My god, those are some great shoots! Jesus I'm excited for this plane!

Do you plan on having a set of "clean" and "dirty" textures?

Gee this is exciting nonetheless, I can't wait to see the progress of the virtual cockpit. All I will say when it is done is, take my money, and tackle the bigger Airbus ;)

Thanks guys! I took her for a pre-christmas crosswind... not the best landing ever made but still... took off again after I had realized the landing was rubish ;) Engines and tail turned out too dark for now, probably has to do with my order of layers and the mutilpying...

Thanks Marc! Yes the gears will be rebuild (Paul Domingue is already frowning at the sight of the gears at their current state I'm sure) ;) I've been someqhat lazy and have left the rebuild work for weeks but it'll be done.

And sure you can upload them to other forums, if you think people will be interested...

What! Me work on a tubeliner? :yikes:
The gear is coming along great and if you're happy, I'm happy.

Merry Christmas

Nah I wouldn't expect you to ;) however I think you'd like a good landing gear model. i had a new idea I'm gonna try and abimate it with just three keyframes, that'll be the aim atleast ;)

Wow this looks so good already, cant wait to fly this!

Thanks Hewe! If also just thought of what has gone wrong on thos engines and rudderd which makes it so dark, I'll fix it and then get on with my thought on the actuators on the gears.

Are you using alpha channels already? Maybe something went wrong there

It actually had something to do with the way I layered multiplied layers... Anyway I also got the gear working now with some damped constraints, so all is well :)

I don't know I'll ever make a 380, kinda depends on the succes or failure of the 350. Frankly I'm still quite new to developing, with zero release on my name. Most people are still probably sceptic about my first project, and I fully understand that. I do, thusfar, enjoy developing and I would love to make a "white elephant", but all is still uncertain...
Don't get me wrong, I've met amazing people here, who're very kind, helpfull and have such an awsome passion for aviation. Also I'm sure I would love developing an a380, I love that aircraft. But I wouldn't at this point in time be able to tell you if I will in the end. I hope you understand.

I completely understand, but following your project, it is great to see how far you have come, and I have no doubt you can create an excellent A380, if you decide to in the distant future ;)

Thanks Jacob! That means a lot to me. And who knows, in the future, I might very well make an A380 ;)

Current state, got the gear working, but animated it from keyframes 0-200... *jinle bells tune* Dumb Dumb Dumb...
