• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Airbus A350 XWB

Okay, no problem
btw, why did you removed your banner? :)

Photobucket, the host of my banner, decided to turn it's back on me with a stupid ad that autoreplace the image. It's fixed now but I'm lazy and didn't yet put it back in my signature...

Anything you still need from the cockpit? Im going to fly on the A350 in a week and I hope I could make a cockpit visit on the ground and take some photos

@Hewe , yes I would very much appreciate that, if you can get the acces ofcourse.
I would like some images of the Pedestal, Overhead Panel, the second screen (the ones on the outer sides which are used for charts and such), the controls sticks / joysticks and the windows from the inside, like the window-frames...
Any images would be appreciated really!

I'll try my best

Thanks Hewe! I hope you ejoy the flight :)

Anyway I took a quick export - no export errors at all, I'm suprissed by myself - to fly here with a vc, the parts that are "done" that is, for a short landing. Here's how that looked.

Still need to get a whole lot done on it

Thanks guys, I found a good tutorial on gear animations using bones su I hopefully can start on that aswell :)

Because its Illegal, if forbidden to use a model from another developer :)
Hope you undersatand, this is copyrights :)

That, and I would be throwing away a lot of effort I've put into the model...

I think the new member doesn't quite understand the concept of this forum.

Not quite indeed.

Perhaps this is something for a new thread but I reconned I might aswell ask a couple of questions here.
It all concerns the left and right landing gear animations (so l_gear and r_gear I guess). Before I ask them I'll show the excercise model I made using four bone-amatures.

So here are my questions:

1. Will this animation setup, with the bones having a rotation animation and further a parent to the main gear, work for FSX?
2. Can I use this animation multiple times? so just copy it four times, two on each gear (left and right)?
3. Is there any way I can test this model without importing it into FSX? For exmaple in MCX?

I don't know how bones are handled in Blender and how well they will export into FSX by now (you might want to ask in the Blender subforum), but from experience with bones in 3ds Max, I'd not get too enthusiastic about them and keep it simple.

MCX generally does a good job with displaying animations, but some of them will look terribly off with misplaced parts while working just fine in FSX. So better double check your animations in the simulator.
