• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Aircraft cabin lights

Need help.
I have so many downloaded commercial aircrafts that DONT have passenger cabin lights on the outside of the aircraft at night. What can I do about it ?? Can someone give me multiple easy options to achieve this goal ?

Ooooops. Sorry. FSX and its multiple different aircrafts. An example would be the Boeing 737900NG business white / Freeware.

Yes indeed. I am familiar with the L and the CTRL L for the lights. I can easily operate the landing lights and strobes but some of the downloaded aircrafts dont have the exterior cabin window lights illuminated at night. Im confused and dont know what to do?

Without writing the exact plane you are asking about how can we answer?

If it's TDS 737-900NG , then uses 2 types of lights also one is panel controled so if don't mind and changed the panel , will be lost.
Also If using FS2004 on FSX , self illumination parts won't illuminate so won't light up.
So there is a case like that.
You need to write which plane and downloaded from where if it's a freeware.

I hope this answers your question about the aircraft ??? It came from SimViation. Its the 737-700 BBJ for FSX

I dont know who designed the aircraft but there are no lights in the windows at night. I would love to learn how to add lights in those windows at night.

Then it's from the wrong packaging of SimViation.
They don't mind about the Animation/Light Control Guages and just changed the panel so lights are uncontroled and animation is moving at dumm/backup mode which is not as it should be,
They don't even check and releases.
They did so much so we refuse to even support their uploads.

Use RIKOOOO instead.
They checks and releases.

It's my plane , it works correct if use it correct.

Real Cabin lights are made dark when take off/landing , it's for safety.
And when on air , make bright.
Under is the photo of real on take off took yesterday.
You can see this is what real is.

So for this cabin light is on different parts and show /Hide is from XML guages.
SimViation broke (Changed the panel and lost of the control)
and uploaded to their site by them selfs.
Thats the reason.
To fix is simple , add the control guages.

What is everyone's opinion about that FS 2024 ??? Is it worth it ? Can you download and modify aircraft the same way ?
