@Bill, as long as he's only using objects from uploaded catalog of objects meant to be used in new freeware, I don't see the grounds for any argument. Of course he's allowed to use them.
@Greg, sounds like you're pretty active here. The next step is designing your own objects! Use a digital camera to create textures, and the argument becomes all moot. Its the parts that's most fun for me anyway.
I had a request about a year or two ago for an author to use my old structures for Tacoma Narrows from a freeware I first published as freeware for fs2002. I'd lost the models in a hard drive reformat, but I said he was welcome to decompiling them if he knew how. I wonder if the newly released KTIW uses them. The screenshots sure look like them! It's kind of flattering if someone liked those old models well enough to want to use them.
