• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

hello
I have an animation made with gmax, a vehicle give return to circuit, the frames are 1024,
No way to make the animation slower walk without having to reduce the circuit?

Hi,

Use more frames is the only way to slow it down. You can use more than 1024 frames with some tweaking.

If you don't like asm tweaking. Make the animation in the fsx gamepack, you can use as many frames as you want. Then use the modelconverterx animation tweaker to convert it to fs2004 again with all frames.

Well I have some doubts.
I put a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNIyGkORRL0

First point: Without knowing why the vehicle is rotated in his career
Second point: to compile, I think there there is an intermediate step I do not performed
ModelConverterX not recognize the MDL file as animation.
What am I doing wrong?

It seems like the line that you make path was made by attaching multiple line together. I'm not sure about that.

Hi,

It would be good to check if the animation is working before the tweaking indeed. When using the FSX gamepack you need to use the Animation Manager script to assign the correct animation type. Did you do that?

I supposed it would be necessary to use the tool from the tool fs "Animation Manager"
I do not understand the configuration, Arno, not how to use this tool, you kindly explain to its running.
Thank you.

don't move the car, try changing the orientation with the y,x,z axis, not sure but could work.
if you want the car only move use the path method, but if you want the wheels move then you have to use the sdk and his animation tool (I don't understood this either ), you can apply turning wheel animation them too. if you use the car as any other object that move along a path, then you have to apply the ambient tag in the animation tool , set the lenght of the animation in the boxes "Start" and "end".
