I decided to revisit an old bird that I've left idle for some time. I remember now why I stopped flying it aside from the VC not being awesome. It's the DC-2 by the UIVER Team. They've programmed some oscillation into I believe the autopilot although it may be someplace else. During level flight with the autopilot engaged the plane will continually go exactly +/- 200 ft. When it reaches the +200 ft., the autopilot changes to -100 ft. per second and the plane descends to -200 ft.
A few years ago I managed to contact one of the team and they admitted they did it on purpose but didn't offer a fix. My expertise ends with adjusting fuel flow and changing the weights & measures, so if anyone has any ideas of where to look for the cause of this annoying bit of programming, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
