• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi all,

After all the server issues of this week we are back online now at a different hosting company.

I think the site has transferred correctly, but if you find any issues let me know.

Two things are still in progress:
  1. The fsdeveloper.com domain has not transfered yet to the new host, so temporarily we are using fsdeveloper.org and you are forwarded to that. Please be aware this will change soon, so please try to minimize the amount of places where you paste fsdeveloper.org links (e.g. in other forums).
  2. The SSL certificate is not yet correctly installed, so you get warnings now that the site is not secure. I'm working on that.

OK, the SSL certificate is working for www.fsdeveloper.org as well now.

The transfer of the fsdeveloper.com domain name has started, but this will take 5 days to complete. So until then we will have to use the temporarily domain.

I have the impression the email notifications are not yet working. Might have to do with the domain name that differs. I'll check.

Receiving them OK via gmail.

However, you are hitting spf failures:

Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=fail (google.com: domain of noreply@fsdeveloper.com does not designate 158.106.138.13 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=noreply@fsdeveloper.com

If you can add a manual TXT SPF record to fsdeveloper.com to permit that IP that'll fix it...

Thanks for the feedback.

The fsdeveloper.com domain is still in transfer, so I don't think I can edit the records at the moment. But I'll check. Else I'll let it send from the org domain for now.

I am too very glad for reviving the forum. Mostly I am watching the forum with tapatalk, but this doesn't work momentary. I get the message: "Need not empty cmd!"

I have just updated the Tapatalk plugin to the latest version, not sure if that is enough to make it work again (might also be that Tapatalk still tries to use the .com domain).

Yay!!! Welcome back. I am just a lurker on the site these days, but missed it nonetheless.
