The correct way to put an background image

In the past, before GE offers many ways to see and get georeferenced earth images, some tools used to adjust background by trial and errors. That was an old fashioned way, for sure.
Ground2k4 and Sbuilder have begun a new time on that matter, leaving the user the option to register an image for background based on their corner's lat/lon coordinates.
I think this is the way you should follow, if is your intention to use background image in FSX Planner.
But, before this, I would appreciate if FSX Planner could connect with FSX so I could use a third tool (SBuilderX) and see the airplane position in FSX Planner, in FSX and also in the background image provided by SBuilderX.
