Beginner Question - Asset Directory cannot be edited

Hello.

I have a weird problem that i cant seem to figure out by myself....

I have made a project for a small airfield here. So far ive used standard library objects but today i wanted to add objects from Blender.

The first one worked fine, ive made a tower and placed it into the sim via this video here.

All fine, object shows up. Its the red marked bgl on the left side in project editor.

Then ive tried to add a second object in the exact same way but now i cannot edit the entry for the asset folder. It simply cant be edited. If i choose a path nothing gets written in it too, so it doesnt keep the path when i choose one neither can i manually write in this field marked red on the pic.

What can that be? Running in circles now for over an hour. I can edit the output dir but not the asset dir. That entrybox is dead.

Is this the right way anyway? I have to do this for every single object? Cant it be a asset list with many items per entry?

You really should have one folder for your library, of type ArtProj, named appropriately. The Bgl type is for your airport facilities, including the placement of your library (ArtProj) objects.

You can then just place all your objects (3 files each) into this one folder.

Thank you toprob. Very fast reply.

Was shown like that in another tut but makes sense what you say yes. I think he did it like you said in the vid above too. Ill try that way then.
