Hi gents,
As some of you may know, I am working on a Bell 222 series helicopter for FS9 with FSX after FS9 model is done. The following shots show where we are at with the helicopter. There is one shot of the native FSX test model.
The exterior is almost done with only a few things left do to. Once done, work on the virtual cockpit will begin.
So far, all passenger/pilot doors, baggage door, cowlings, avionics nose bay/nose have been animated, the rotor blades have pitch and collective pitch applied, tail blades have been animated to react with the tail pedals, the rear turbine blades are animated, but for some reason they continue to spin even after the engines are shutdown...must be an issue with tick 18.
I want to implement cyclic movements on the rotor, I even setup the animations correctly...but for some reason, they aren't animating properly in sim. Any ideas from the gmax gurus?
I need someone with good XML knowledge for gauge programming. Anyone interested, please let me know.
The models in the series include the 222A, 222B, 222UT and 230. The 430 is undecided right now and there will be no Airwolf from us as NBC/Universal won't let anyone model Airwolf in any form for free or profit.
Enjoy the shots
