MSFS20 Best way to make a bush?

Hey there, I'm trying to make a row of bushes and struggling with how to do it. I have added an image as a plane and used alpha mode blend. I then make multiple of these to make a bush shape but when I put it into the sim it's pretty much see-through and clipping. Any ideas?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

The sim has lots of bushes. In DevMode, you can place a few bush objects and see what you like. In the image, I found Bush_02, and used DevMode to show me the folder it was in:

I then used ModelConverterX to load the model's library, so I could see just what Asobo did to make the bush. The branches and leaves are on many planes as double-sided materials. You can see this by looking at the PBR textures. They point all over the place at different angles. The materials have an Alpha, but it is MASK type, rather than alpha blend. I think Asobo used an addon to make the bush, as hand-placing and scaling the different planes would be tedious. Blender also has some free addons that can make trees and bushes of this type. The Bush_02 uses 4 LODs to keep the number of polys under control, and reduce the DrawCalls.

Google 'blender free addon bush tree'

Thank you so much for the help! I will give this a go and message again if I need any more help! Appreciate it

Blender includes an addon (needs to be activated in preferences) named Sapling Tree Gen. It can make bushes. The trunk will be a curve, and that should be converted to a mesh.
