• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Hello everybody,

I did not know how to thank the members of FSDeveloper for all the help I received from the community ... Finally, I told myself that images are better than words! Here is summary, with ten pictures, the result of almost fifteen months of modeling in Blender, with excellent addon BlenderToFSX ...

My Morane D-3801 (Swiss version of Morane MS_406) is finally over ... I think! In any case, my test pilot, ex-pilot of that plane in 1958, is extremely happy with the result ...

Thank you to Felix - @capt_x , Krispy - @krispy1001 , Daan - @Dutcheeseblend , Bill Leaming - @n4gix , Doug Dawson @ddawson , ...and everyone I forgot ...!

Congrats Chris!

It looks beautiful! No less than beautiful! Wow!

Reminds me that I need to find some time to give a detailed reply on your PM...

Wonderful job!

This is the same aircraft at Duxford (Flying Legends airshow) last summer. That's a fine job Chris!

Hi Tom, and thanks!

This aircraft is precisely my original model, based in Bex, Switzerland, on the airfield where I got my pilot license ....:D

Thank you Daan! I feel very flattered! ...

Yes this is my first baby ...! My first 3D modeling, my first use of Blender, my discovery of BlenderToFSX, my first steps in the XML language, my first contact with the FSX and P3D SDK ... In short, a FIRST! :)

Today I live in Ecuador. But I kept contacts with Bex aerodrome in Switzerland, and my test pilot, former pilot of the Morane, helped by photographing this aircraft from all angles ... It was also to a great help for me to create a very accurate flight model.

So, other friends are also part of my adventure: I created all the aircraft model, another is the technical adviser and test pilot, and two others are in charge of creating missions : "Swiss military pilot 1940 - 1950" is the project name. All will be available in the summer or fall, but it will not be free ...(!) :( because this project represented a major investment in time ...! I will keep you informed...

Now this is one awesome beautifull plane to see and - in the same time - a perfect inspiration (for me) to continue to master Blender too Chrismot!
Thank you for sharing your work and images!
