• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Cannot find the BGL file after running SbuilderX 3.14

I have been using SbuilderX 3.13 for quite a while creating photoreal scenery for my own use. I decided to instal the 3.14 version because of so many CTD from v3.13 when trying to compile, specially from Google.
The problem is that I cannot find the BMP file created with v3.14, the new version runs apparently fine, It creates the file, but when I go looking for it in C:\SBuilderX314\Tools\Work, there is nothing there. Could someone help in figuring out where I can find it?

I believe your default location would be the C:\SBuilderX314\Tools\Shapes folder, see if there's a .bgl in there.
 
Thanks Mike, I might have done the install wrong. I got the zip file from ptsim, this one: https://onedrive.live.com/download?resid=F3950C5BBD2BCFA1!805. What I did afterwards is installed the contents in "C" just as I have SbuilderX 3.13, but when did run it and created a BMP. it was not deposited in the file inside "C", instead it deposited in the downloaded folder on the desktop.
I though that was OK, but now, after working on the BMP in Photoshop, I tried incorporating the night BMP, but when sbuilderx 3.14 went looking for it, it showed the file empty. However, when I phisically look for it by clicking on the desktop file, it clearly has them in the desktop\SBuilderX314\Tools\Work folder. Why cant sbuilderx find it? Bernardo.
