We have recently released our Midway class ships, which we aspire to make the new standard for carrier ops and naval features in general.
"Carriers Extended" will be the first module in the series and comes included in our USS Midway and F-4 Phantom package and includes:
Right now we're almost done working past the hiccups from the initial release and are developing an SDK for shipbuilders. It will be available for free in a few days and allow shipbuilders to integrate these features easily on any kind of vessel or scenery that needs them:
The SDK will require basic modeling and text editing (really?) skills. We will also be providing in-sim tools to reduce the text-editing such as the hook calibration tool shown below:
In order for the listed features to be usable, the end-user will need to buy one of our released carriers, or the stand-alone Carriers Extended add-on which will be made available by the year's end.
If you are developing a vessel and are interested in the project (freeware or payware) and want to learn more, get in touch with us at info[at]simworksstudios.com and we will notify you as soon as the SDK is out.
