Hi,

I have a probleme with the center line (yellow) not showing on the runway in FSXA. But it show good in ADEX. But i notice that the runway in ADEX is by default is 115ft and in FSXA it is 117.5ft !

I try with flaten (lower or highter) but have the same result.

I have ORBX global and VECTOR, i have WATC deactivated in VECTOR same result.

I do not know where to check next...

So i include the AD4 files for you to chech what i miss !

Hey @Oldguy19

I don't do FSX scenery design, but I presume ADEX and ADE9 work much in the same way.
I would believe the reason for your problem is that the runway links have 'no line' defined for the center. Try to check their properties and tick the 'Center > Line' box on both runway links.
Hope this helps!

Edit:
Nevermind I just noticed that they do show up in ADE, though not in the sim :/
It must be a problem related to that small altitude difference then. Unfortunately I am not able to help you if that's the case :/
Best of luck!

Oldguy19,

FSX does not 'like' runways that only have 'entry points' that are not at the ends of the runway - your only entry point is about half-way along.

Try adding 'turn-round' Paths at each end of the runway to help aircraft turn round neatly when they taxi to the ends. I use 1 metre paths for this and it usually works.

Have added these to your file, compiled and the missing arcs on the runway now show.

Hi Raymk and Oldguy19,
I never noticed this fact and I have made a lot of airports. Maybe I didn't watch this "cosmetic" problem;).
But indeed if you ad a 'entry point' at one end of the runway it works. BTW if you wish some AI you have to ad a HoldShort point.

By the way - you will also notice that, after adding the turn-round' paths, the taxiway junction to the runway now has fillets. :scratchch

Hi Raymk,

Many Thanks, I did not know about the " turn-around" at the end of runways.
Cause i had the same problem for other small scenery i did.
Now i will be able to repair those runways. :rotfl:

Again Thank you ;)

Hi Raymk and Oldguy19!
I found that a second entry point without a "turn- around" would also help for the lines. I tried it because I knew some airports with such entries.
